About Bob
Bob Colman is the Director and Principal Engineer.
He has a wealth of practical experience combined with professional engineering qualifications.
Bob started as a Fitter Machinist back in the 80’s and it didn’t take long to realise that engineering was the career path to follow.
Bob has since qualified in both Mechanical and Structural Engineering. He is continually keeping up to date with the latest developments in engineering and attending conferences and workshops both locally and interstate.
Having achieved industry recognition as a Chartered Professional Engineer, Bob is registered as a Certifying Structural Engineer in the Northern Territory & Queensland. Bob is on the National Engineering Register and is a member of the Australian Corrosion Association and the Australian Steel Institute.
In 2014 Bob successfully completed his Diploma in Project Management to enhance his recognised skill base.
Bob is an experienced licensed user of SpaceGass Structural Analysis Software.
Being based in Darwin means Bob has easy access to all mine sites across the NT, WA and QLD.
